I found the following article from Parade Magazine… Although it’s older (from September 2007) it’s still a great interview! I’ll add scans from the article when I get my hands on my own copy. For now, check out the interview!

In a recent afternoon, Christina Applegate was home in L.A., reading the script for her new Monday-night comedy series for ABC, Samantha Who?, which had just arrived at her door. “Suppose you don’t like a line or a scene,” I asked, “does the brass listen to you?”

“I’m one of the producers,” said the astute Ms. Applegate. “They have to listen to me.”

On the show, Christina plays a hit-and-run victim who suffers amnesia and doesn’t remember that she used to be a “mean girl”—and now is not sure who her friends really are. “It’s not your usual sitcom,” she told me. “I love the flashback aspect that we’ll do every week. And there’s also a touch of Sex and the City in it.” …

While browsing through news stories, I found this article and in it, it discusses Christina in a magazine called “Statement”. Here’s the quote “Applegate tells the upcoming issue of American magazine Statement, “I am sort of starting over…”, you can read the rest at the link, it’s a gossip article and since I don’t post that kind of stuff here, I won’t. lol

I did some research and found the website for the magazine at StatementMag.com. They are still promoting their Aug/Sept. issue. I’ll be sure to post if/when I find out which issue Christina is in! Let’s hope we can see a new cover and pictorial! 🙂

I hope everyone caught Christina on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last night! I attended the taping and it was fun! Christina looked amazing and she was very funny! It was great to see the “magic” happen in person, it’s definitely something everyone should do at least once. 😉 I’m on the look-out for a video from the show, if you can send in a video from the show, please contact me! 😉

I found this article on Perez Hilton, don’t mind the rude things he says about Christina’s career, but check out the good news on Samantha Who?!

Christina Applegate’s new ABC sitcom, Samantha Who?, is a hit!

The show is one of the few breakout programs of the new season and has already been picked up for a full season. In fact, Samantha Who? is the #1 new comedy in America.

This Monday’s airing got an impressive 15.4 million viewers. Ratings for the show have gone up each week, a sure sign of a hit.

I also wanted to post that Christina is going to be a guest on the talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live” this Friday, November 2! The show airs at midnight on ABC. I’m going to be in attendance and I can’t wait! If anyone can send in a video from the show, please contact me! 🙂

Access Hollywood is going to be showing a brand new interview with Christina on their show Monday, October 29! I’ll be sure to post captures and a link to the video once it appears. In the meantime you can check out AccessHollywood.com for the air times in your area.
