Since I’m getting back into the swing of things after my offline time, I decided to catch up on some public event photos. I’ve added a mix of MQ and HQ photos, and there are even some events that I found that I didn’t know Christina attended. 😉 Remember to be logged in at the gallery, and if you aren’t a member, please join to see the photos! Christina is one of the many celebrities featured in the current issue of Entertainment Weekly (with Kate Walsh on the cover). She is featured in the Fall TV 2007 preview portion of the magazine. EW.com has a picture online with a small excerpt of Christina talking about Samantha.
CHRISTINA APPLEGATE, SAMANTHA WHO?
(ABC, 9:30-10 p.m. Mondays, debuting Oct. 15)
”All she wants to do is just be a good person and really, you know, fix the damage that this other part of herself did,” says Applegate of her title character, who develops amnesia after a car accident and slowly begins to realize what a truly heinous person she was.
I’m going to add scans from the magazine as soon as I get it. For now, you can check out a cute picture to the left! (Click on it to see the larger version) Make sure you go out and grab your copy! 😀
Thanks to Just Jared, we now have photos of Christina filming scenes in Samantha Who and also the promos from the show. Check them out by clicking on the thumbnails below. 🙂 Christina looks amazing!

The title of Christina’s new show has been changed again, and it looks like it’s sticking around for good this time. The new (and hopefully last) title is Samantha Who. You can check out a ton of preview videos and interview footage with Christina at the show’s official website at ABC.com. Samantha Who is set to premiere on Monday, October 15, 2007 at 9:30pm on ABC!
Site-wise, I want to apologize for my absence, I was without internet during the summer and that’s why there wasn’t any updates here. I’m back online now and I’m planning to catch up on everything that’s been happening. Thanks for sticking in there and get ready for Samantha Who!
Clearance issues with the estate of Dr. Seuss has caused ABC to change the name of its new Christina Applegate laffer.
In May, Alphabet introduced the show to advertisers and the press as “Sam I Am.” Title played on the fact that Applegate’s character, Samantha Newly, has amnesia and can’t remember anything about her life.
As good as the title may have been, it also drew on the first lines of the classic Dr. Seuss work “Green Eggs and Ham.” Neither ABC nor producer ABC Studios would comment Monday, but it’s believed the Seuss estate didn’t take kindly to the Alphabet’s literary allusion (or at the very least wanted too much coin to authorize its use).
So now, ABC has opted to call the show “Samantha Be Good.”
New title may not have the same ring as “Sam I Am,” but it still reflects one of the show’s themes. Turns out that, before she lost her memory, Applegate’s character was a not very nice person. Now that she’s got a chance to start over, she’ll be trying to be good.
